The Artist
CO
Juliana de la Concha is a Colombian artist trained at Universidad de los Andes, with a focus on design and complemented by the IB Diploma specializing in art. She further expanded her artistic practice at La Puerta Azul art workshop, where she honed her skills in painting and drawing. Her work seeks to explore the connection between human beings and nature through painting and pointillism, a technique she employs to grant her subjects symbolic identities and a striking level of detail that approaches realism. Nature plays a fundamental role in her artistic vision, evoking childhood memories and a deep fascination with flowers. These recollections are transformed into unique compositions that merge figurative and natural elements, shaping a visual language that is both sensitive and poetic.
