El Familión .

About the work

Acrylic on canvas. This piece celebrates those moments we share as a familión—a big, loving family—when what matters isn’t the space or the setting, but simply being together. Those times when we figure out how to make room for everyone, because as we say here: “Where two fit, five can too.” It’s a tribute to the memories in which who we were with mattered far more than how or where. A reminder that the best moments taste better when lived in familión. From the collection Recuerdos Apilados (Stacked Memories), inspired by these family moments—memories that pile up one on top of the other. And just like plastic chairs, if cared for and stored with love, they can last forever.
